Job summary

Veneer Technologies, Inc. in Newport, NC is seeking an Inside Sales Trainee to join our customer-focused team. You will handle field customer service calls, assist with veneer orders, and enter sample requests.

You will check product availability and provide accurate information from internal systems, collaborating with a dedicated team to grow your sales career. This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and willingness to learn the manufacturing side.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills. Previous sales experience is helpful.
• Be reliable; attendance is important.
• Must have computer experience and knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be conscientious about your work and willing to be involved with manufacturing and production processes.
• Must have good verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Field customer service calls and assist with wood veneer orders
• Enter sample requests and manage order dataContact targeted customers in the cabinet, furniture, and panel industries
• Check product availability and provide accurate information using internal data systems
• Work independently and collaborate with a dedicated team
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

8-hour shift: Day 8am-5pm

Monday to Friday

No weekends!

Requirements

• Previous sales experience is helpful.
