We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Support Representative to provide high-quality quoting, order placement, order tracking and management for our customers and account management team. The ISSR will play a crucial role in providing administrative and operational support to our account management team, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow from quote to invoice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain impactful relationships with customers, account managers, and cross-functional team members.
  • Responsible for managing customer licensing and support renewals, as well as following internal process to creating net new renewal opportunities after order placement.
  • Act on behalf of the account manager, as the customer's main point of contact in the quoting, ordering and throughout the order management process
  • Source product through distributor and supplier channels to achieve the best possible cost
  • Create / manage sales opportunities for assigned account managers
  • Place approved customer orders within ERP system.
  • Monitor email traffic to ensure timely correspondence to customer and sales department requests.
  • Track orders and returns, and manage shipping issues
  • Work with accounting/procurement to reconcile order discrepancies
  • Proactively resolve post-order issues and review backorders to ensure customer and sales team SLA's are met
  • Prepare reports for sales management, AM's and customers, as needed
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with OEM account managers & distributor teams.
  • Participate in RFQ/RFP response process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Associate degree or equivalent with 3 years of work-related experience required.
  • 2+ years of successful customer service/inside sales experience. Strong consideration for those who have prior experience in the IT field.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Must be able to perform duties with little to no direction
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills
  • A demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and an ability to work within multiple CRM, ERP systems
