Job summary

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group in Kentucky is seeking an inside sales support specialist to assist the fire sales team with pre-sale and post-sale tasks, ensuring efficient operations and timely customer service.

You will duplicate specifications, manage CRM data, create reports, develop training materials, monitor orders and payments, and support onboarding. Travel to factories and shows is required about 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four-year degree preferred in business, finance, engineering or administration.
• Experience or knowledge of data processing or databases preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of fire apparatus industry required.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent business English and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Duplicate previously sold apparatus specifications for new opportunities.
• Provide and monitor data input in the company's CRM tool.
• Create, maintain, and produce reports for the sales department.
• Create and maintain internal policies and procedures for fire sales division.
• Develop broad and detailed product training modules.
• Monitor the on-time payment of fire-sales orders.
• Assist with fire-sales onboarding and product training.
• Provide how-to assistance with OEM specification software.
• Support sales team for urgent requests regarding customer support.
• Attend customer meetings to support sales representatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the sales team.
• Travel to factories and shows about 10%.
• Assist with additional sales-related tasks as requested.

Summary

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4-year degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Business/Administration preferred
• Experience or Knowledge of Data Processing or database management.
• Experience or Knowledge of fire apparatus and/or the fire apparatus manufacturing industry required.
• Intermediate to advanced Skills in Excel required.
• Excellent Business English and communication skills
• Self-motivated, with an aptitude for customer satisfaction
• Detail oriented, organized and a strong multi-tasker
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Effective Problem-Solving Skills

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The position requires travel to trade shows, when assigned. The travel will include set-up and tear-down with other team members. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
