Job summary

Deering Lumber, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Maine. You will assist with new and existing customer sales, provide product support, and prepare quotes over the phone and in person.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience in the building materials industry, with inside sales experience preferred. Strong communication and inventory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in building material industry preferred.
• Inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; enter work orders, credit returns, return authorizations, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing specifications, uses and availability.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
