Sonepar is seeking a capable Sales Associate in Mesa, AZ to handle customer orders by phone and in person, solicit new business, and coordinate with credit, warehouse, and outside sales teams. You will determine product details, provide pricing and delivery quotations, and ensure accurate order processing with timely shipment.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, math, and product knowledge, plus proficiency with Codale systems and Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to perform math functions representative of the postion.
• Possess in depth knowledge of Codale computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to receive orders for products.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products.
• Maintain courteous and professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Liaison between customer and Codale departments (credit purchasing, warehouse, outside sales, management).
• Determine product make, type and quality based on catalog references and warehouse knowledge.
• Provide quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard or non-standard items.
• Prepare sales tickets with identification and tax status for processing and delivery.
• Estimate delivery dates based on firm schedules.
• Follow up on quotations to convert into orders.
• Resolve order problems promptly with diplomacy.
