Job summary

Northeast in Bridgeport, CT seeks an Inside Sales Representative to guide customers in person at the branch and over the phone. You will assist with orders, invoices, deliveries, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires English communication, a minimum of one year in sales, and a customer-centric, detail-oriented approach. Daytime schedule with weekends; benefits include health insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, read, and communicate in English.
• Prior sales experience in a related field – minimum of 1 year.
• Motivated, results driven, detail oriented, approachable, and customer-centric.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a cash register quickly and accurately including all POS and Delivery software applications.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the Branch and determine the scope of their projects and needed products/services.
• Provide expert guidance, product recommendations and answers to customer questions.
• Record accurate product details, quantities, measurements and create customer quotes and invoices.
• Create customer invoices and Special Orders, ensuring POs are approved and payments applied.
• Follow-up with Vendors for timely updates on ordered products.
• Enter deliveries into the Dispatch Delivery Management System with correct location and date/time blocks.
