Colonial Electric Supply is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to interview customers, take orders by phone or in person, and prepare invoices for delivery. You will use catalogs, pricing systems, and internal records to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery in a fast-paced electrical supply environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in electrical sales or related roles, with excellent communication and math skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Electrical sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret pricing and catalog information.

Aufgaben

• Interview customers to determine product needs and record orders.
• Take and process orders by phone or in person.
• Prepare quotes, invoices, and delivery paperwork for timely shipments.
• Describe products using samples or catalogs and emphasize key features.
• Solicit additional product orders and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily records of expenses and sales activities.
• Assist branch operations and promote promotions and specials.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues to resolve issues.
