Job summary

Colonial Electric Supply seeks an Inside Sales professional with electrical sales experience to assist customers by phone or at our facility, recording orders for delivery and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong communication, basic math, and a customer-focused attitude.

You will develop product knowledge to advise customers on selection, pricing, and availability while helping to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Strong communication and math skills for handling orders and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Interview customers to determine the product desired by phone or in person.
• Record information into the computer for product delivery.
• Resolve customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Acquire and apply technical knowledge of general and specialty merchandise.
• Describe products using samples or catalogs to highlight features.
