Job summary

Cesna-Recruitment seeks an Inside Sales Specialist for a steel trading client in New Jersey. You will be the primary internal contact for clients, handling inquiries, quotes, and purchase orders for steel products.

Collaborate with External Sales and Logistics to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery. You will track orders with logistics, manage shipping documents, maintain CRM/ERP data, and oversee inventory and position management.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in sales operations, supply chain, logistics, or order management.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Korean; strong communication with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary internal contact for clients, handling inquiries, quotes, and POs for steel products.
• Coordinate with External Sales and Logistics/Documentation teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.
• Track orders with logistics to monitor shipping schedules, vessel tracking, and delivery statuses.
• Verify and manage shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, MTC) required for steel trade.
• Maintain customer records and sales data within the CRM/ERP system.
• Oversee inventory and position management, including long and short positions.
• Register and manage team-level Business Models within the internal system.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Description

• Sales Support & Coordination: Act as the primary internal contact for clients, handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing purchase orders (POs) for steel products.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between External Sales and Logistics/Documentation teams to ensure accurate order transmission and timely delivery.
• Order Tracking & Logistics Liaison: Coordinate with the logistics team to monitor shipping schedules, vessel tracking, and delivery statuses, updating both internal teams and clients.
• Documentation Management: Verify and manage commercial invoices, packing lists, mill test certificates (MTC), and other shipping documents required for steel trade.
• Account & Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer records and sales data within the CRM/ERP system.
• Inventory & Position Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, including pre-purchase (long positions) and pre-sales (short positions) tracking.
• Sales Business Model Registration: Register and manage various team-level Business Models (BM) within the internal system.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
