Cesna-Recruitment client, a Fortune 500 global trading and investment company, seeks an Operations/Logistics specialist in Houston focusing on chemical trading. You will handle shipping documentation, customs coordination, SAP data entry, and cross‑regional logistics coordination.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years shipping documentation experience, high accuracy, strong organization, and clear communication with customers and colleagues. Korean bilingual is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Shipping Documentation (Chemical preferred)
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to interact and communicate clearly with coworkers and customers
• Good organization skills
• Korean bilingual highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Shipping documentation handling: verify shipping notices against POs and revise as needed
• Custom clearance preparation and submission to customs broker for correction and entry filing
• Process payments for imported merchandise, freight, inland trucking, duties
• File and manage all transactions and payment documents
• Coordinate activities between regions/countries for trading
• Logistics coordination to align purchases with sales
• Communicate with customers and follow up on requests
• Enter Purchase/Sales data into SAP ERP
• Credit management for customers
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Operation / Logistics ( Chemical Trading)

Job Description

• Shipping documentation handling: upon receipt of shipping notices and documents from shipper and/or freight forwarder cross check against purchase orders in the system and work on revision as needed
• Custom clearance preparation: submission of shipping documents to custom broker for correction and timely entry filing. Harmonized tariff schedules must be checked and verified with custom broker and other resources as well as other information that goes on duty entries.
• Payment process: processing of various types of payments such as imported merchandise, freight, inland trucking, duty to US Custom and other direct costs.
• Folder/Journal management: all transactions and payment related documents for all shipments must be timely filed and managed.
• Managing activities related to trading between different regions and/or countries.
• Logistics coordination for smooth operation matching up purchases with sales
• Communication with customers and follow up on request accordingly
• Purchase/Sales data input to ERP(SAP) system
• Credit management for customer
• Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager.
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Shipping Documentation (Chemical preferred)
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact and communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers
• Good organization skills
