Job summary

Cesna Recruitment is seeking an Operations / Logistics professional for a chemical trading role to ensure accurate shipping documentation, timely customs clearance, and smooth cross-border operations. You will coordinate purchases and sales, enter data into SAP, and support credit management and customer communications.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Shipping Documentation (Chemical preferred).
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact and communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Good organization skills.
• Korean bilingual highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipping documentation handling: verify shipping notices against purchase orders and revise as needed.
• Customs clearance preparation and submission of documents to broker, verify tariffs.
• Process payments for imported merchandise, freight, duties and related costs.
• File and manage all transaction and payment documents for shipments.
• Coordinate trading activities across regions/countries and ensure smooth logistics.
• Match purchases with sales and coordinate logistics accordingly.
• Communicate with customers and respond to requests.
• Enter purchase/sales data into SAP ERP.
• Manage customer credit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Responsibilities

• Shipping documentation handling: upon receipt of shipping notices and documents from shipper and/or freight forwarder cross check against purchase orders in the system and work on revision as needed
• Custom clearance preparation: submission of shipping documents to custom broker for correction and timely entry filing. Harmonized tariff schedules must be checked and verified with custom broker and other resources as well as other information that goes on duty entries.
• Payment process: processing of various types of payments such as imported merchandise, freight, inland trucking, duty to US Custom and other direct costs.
• Folder/Journal management: all transactions and payment related documents for all shipments must be timely filed and managed.
• Managing activities related to trading between different regions and/or countries.
• Logistics coordination for smooth operation matching up purchases with sales
• Communication with customers and follow up on request accordingly
• Purchase/Sales data input to ERP(SAP) system
• Credit management for customer
• Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager.
• Other duties as assigned
