Job summary

Schoenherr Roofing is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist/Representative to reconnect, educate, and close opportunities with homeowners. You will quote, follow up, and drive conversions by phone and email while maintaining detailed notes in Job Nimbus.

The role emphasizes professional communication, performance metrics, and participation in online training to uphold our trusted brand and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• The ability to work independently.
• Proven history of performance in sales, preferably within roofing or construction.
• Proficient in using CRM software (Job Nimbus) and other sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate CRM notes on all communications, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Meet and exceed sales and rehash appointment metrics established by management.
• Make a minimum of -75 contact attempts per day.
• Communicate professionally and represent Schoenherr Roofing with Trust, Excellence and Integrity.
• Training Requirement: complete active training through Schoenherr Roofing’s online training software.

Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist/Representative is the voice that turns opportunity into results.

Your role is to reconnect, educate, and close with professionalism, helping homeowners make confident, informed decisions backed by the Schoenherr Roofing name.

PHONE QUOTES:

• Quotes for straightforward projects that don’t require an in-person visit by a rep.
• MUST Make contact within 30 minutes after being sent the lead by CRS.
• QUOTE EVERYTHING!! Ask customer to text photos to accurately quote (95% of all projects to be accurately quoted).
• Quotes should be handled the same day of inquiry, provided over the phone and/or email.
• Phone quote board must be maintained and updated at all times in Job Nimbus.
• Follow up with phone quotes is a MUST, they are calling us to do work. Multiple followups are required in the first 24-48 hours to close the deal.

REHASH:

• Follow up on unclosed quotes (30–90+ days old) via phone, text, and email.
• Re-engage homeowners to determine if they’ve completed their roof project.
• Close deals over the phone by reviewing quotes, handling objections, and communicating value.
• Hot & Fresh leads are Priority (30-45 Days), Warm Leads (45-90 Days), then Cold (Hatch/90Day+).
• Manage Hatch Communication and Campaigns for all leads 30 days+ & Phone quotes.
• Reset appointments for Exterior Specialists when homeowners won't make a decision over the phone, or if the job is complicated. If you can't close it, set the appointment.

• Make a minimum of -75 contact attempts per day. A contact is attempting to contact a lead, Phone/Text/E-mail to the same lead counts as (1) contact attempt.
• Communicate professionally and represent Schoenherr Roofing with Trust, Excellence and Integrity.
• Training Requirement: Must complete active training through Schoenherr Roofing’s provided online training software in regards to your position and as mapped out by the Sales Director.
