We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative-remote to join our team of professionals for a Monday - Friday, day shift role, selling and supporting our customers with a large variety of cabinet-making and storage solution products. We invite you to visit us at Richelieu.com to learn more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Richelieu customers by phone, email, and in person at our local branch showroom; research and place orders for our building materials products.
  • Learn and stay abreast of products, changes, and trends within woodworking, kitchen & bath design, and cabinet making.
  • Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone, placing orders as well as providing sales quotes.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes; research pricing and availability for various items in multiple product categories.
  • Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues.
  • Maintain and uphold Richelieu's Five Core Values while striving to achieve and surpass our company's sales objectives.
  • Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, day shift only.
  • Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds.

What We Are Looking For

  • A motivated, customer-focused individual, eager to provide top-quality customer experiences when ordering or installing Richelieu products.
  • Adaptive, responsive to customer and team inquiries, and an excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person.
  • Prior inside sales or customer service experience is helpful, ideally in a desktop or office-based setting.
  • Inside telesales experience preferred in the industrial market.
  • Knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry, kitchen/bath design, architectural hardware, or related building materials experience is helpful.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to prioritize tasks, organized, and highly comfortable with technology (uses AS400 database software daily).
  • Strong sense of drive and creativity, ability to communicate persuasively and informatively with all types of customers and coworkers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Word, Outlook, and Excel for daily responsibilities and tasks.
  • AS400 experience is helpful, but is not required.
