Roberts Oxygen Company in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You will assist both walk-in visitors and internal customers, process sales, and support branch operations while promoting safety and service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in inside sales or welding, a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inside sales and customer service, or welding experience
• CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willing to obtain)
• Immediately greet and assist walk-in visitors and customers; answer phones professionally
• Proven customer service experience with thoughtful interaction regarding services, products, and invoices
• Efficiently process customer sales transactions; build trust for future sales growth
• Support Sales staff with timely customer information, scheduling, and branch coverage
• Safely load cylinders or products on trailers and customer transportation
• Commit to high performance via attendance and dependable work habits; follow safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including internet searching and data entry
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude
• Ability to lift 75lbs
• High school education or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
• Pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

What makes you stand out?

You have proven skills in providing excellent and effective customer service assisting both external and internal customers. Your passion is selling and you have general knowledge of welding products and hardgoods. You have a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or are willing to obtain) and are ready and willing to perform relief delivery driving when needed.

Skills and experience requirements:

• 2 years of insides sales and customer service, or welding experience
• Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker (X) endorsements - or willing to obtain endorsements
• Immediately and politely greet and assists walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
• Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices
• Efficiently processes customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability
• Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage, including relief delivery driving duties
• Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
• Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits, Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• High school education or equivalent - Bachelor’s degree is a plus
