Base pay range

Title - Inside Sales Representative - Logistics Services - Hybrid - Must be located in the Greater Chicago Area.

Package - $55,000-$70,000 base salary + Uncapped commission

Responsibilities

• Selling a logistics and supply chain brokerage service including Air, Road & Ocean freight to a range of product manufacturing & distributing markets.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
• Identify and reach out to potential product manufacturing & distributing customers through cold calling, emails, and other sales tactics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to understand their logistics needs.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software.

Requirements

• Ideally have prior sales or customer service experience with basic knowledge of the Logistics and Supply Chain industry.
• Ideally has a preexisting network within logistics and freight forwarding.
• Must be competitive, entrepreneurial individual, who is results driven.
• Extremely motivated to make many Cold Calls and send lots of Cold Emails.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
