Job Description: Inside Sales Representative (Remote) works from home and interfaces with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding client's products and/or services. (Military veterans are encouraged to apply.)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone sales calls and email communications to sell to new and existing prospects.
  • Explain payment requests, describe fees, and help customers understand product value.
  • Facilitate lead management between sales channels and business to help close leads.
  • Service merchant inquiries and escalations related to merchant enrollment/setup.
  • Research data points and compile information into Excel.
  • Assist customers in setting up payment systems.
  • Run reports, provide insights, and resolve leads needing more information.
  • Ensure service delivery meets KPIs.
  • Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and utilize decision-support tools.
  • Build rapport through attentive listening and empathy.
  • Greet customers courteously and professionally.
  • Maintain knowledge of client products/services.
  • Accurately document work and notes.
  • Participate in activities to improve satisfaction and performance.
  • Track and retrieve information in call databases.
  • Respond to inquiries using published materials or escalate as needed.
  • De-escalate situations and handle tough conversations effectively.
  • Deliver excellent customer experiences with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in providing high-quality customer service and building loyalty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions and manage objections.
  • Strong listening and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and system navigation.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to operate in a regulated environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Sales experience and financial/credit card processing knowledge.
