Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Stamford, CT. You will assess customer needs, recommend roof, siding, and window products, and process sales orders while coordinating with the warehouse and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow product checklists for each customer and upsell additional items.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply them to customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Ensure timely deliveries with all items accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Overtime as needed

Specific Duties May Include

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific Qualifications Include

• Bilingual in Spanish / English is preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
