Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Goleta, CA to provide excellent service and help customers select roofing, siding, windows, and related materials. You will answer phones, enter orders, and coordinate pickups with the warehouse.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pay ranging from $28 to $35 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies.
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.

Pay Rate Information:
