Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Hawaii to deliver world-class service and help customers select roofing, siding, and window products for their projects.

You will determine customer needs, process orders, upsell products, coordinate pickups, and follow deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in roofing/siding/windows, strong communication, time management, and basic computer skills; a positive attitude and detail orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.

• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and item accuracy.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked and organized.
• Address and resolve service concerns promptly.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Pay Rate Information

$20-27/hr. Based on experience & qualifications.
