Job summary

Lush Lawn & Safari Tree is seeking an energetic Pest Sales Representative to join our in-office team in Waterford, MI. You will generate new residential and commercial pest control business by identifying prospects, evaluating properties, and presenting customized pest management solutions to close sales.

You will educate customers on pest activity, prevention methods, and available treatment options while maintaining a robust sales pipeline and meeting aggressive goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software for data management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional demeanor during client interactions
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and client communication
• Technical proficiency in computer use, data entry accuracy, typing speed, and familiarity with basic troubleshooting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, cold calling, cancels, community events, and company-generated leads.
• Conduct on-site property inspections to identify pest concerns and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Educate customers on pest activity, prevention methods, and available treatment options.
• Prepare accurate estimates and present service agreements that meet customer needs.
• Follow up on quotes and leads to maximizing sales conversion.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and document all sales activities in the company's CRM system.
• Meet or exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless scheduling and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Address customer questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Stay current on pest control products, treatment methods, industry trends, and company services.
