Marcone Plumbing is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to manage and develop relationships within an assigned customer base. You will respond to inquiries, process orders, and provide product guidance to meet customer needs, driving revenue and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes outbound calls, order processing for stocked and special orders, issue resolution, upselling, and accurate reporting. A High School Diploma and 2 years in a call center are required, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of call center experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn enterprise systems.
• Aptitude for numerical operations.

Responsibilities

• Make 15–30 outbound calls daily to assigned customers to develop new business.
• Process pricing, information, and product availability requests.
• Process product orders including stock and special orders.
• Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
• Follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
• Provide product and service information and promote upselling.
• Complete call logs and reports; research billing issues.
• Raise awareness of trends in customer calls with management.
• Coach customers on using computer systems to resolve problems.
• Maintain proficiency with company computer systems for data entry and office tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR)

is responsible for managing and developing relationships within an assigned customer base. This role responds to inbound inquiries, conducts targeted outbound outreach, processes orders, resolves customer issues, and provides product and solution guidance aligned to customer needs. The ISR plays a key role in driving revenue, supporting customer retention, and delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience through accurate execution and effective communication.

Essential Job Duties

• Estimated to make 15-30 outbound calls per day to assigned/designated customers to develop new business and gain share of potential and wallet share/contribution.
• Processes customer requests for pricing, information, and availability regarding products.
• Processes customer orders for products both in stock and special order.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves customer issues using the computer system.
• Responsible for following up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
• Provides customers with product and service information and promotes Up-selling products and services.
• Responsible for completing call logs and reports.
• Research billing issues.
• Raise awareness and communicate with management of trends in customer calls.
• Coaches’ customers how they can utilize computer systems to assist in resolving problems.
• Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years prior call center experience in a related field, with similar computer requirements
• Knowledge of MS Office applications as needed to satisfactorily perform work assignments – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint as well as can learn company enterprise systems as needed.
• Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.

Physical Requirements

This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves regular physical and sensory activity, including:

• Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), with intermittent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Continuous use of fingers, hands, and arms for computer and office-related tasks
