The Inside Sales Manager
drives revenue growth by leading a high-performing team of Inside Sales Representatives. This role sets clear goals, monitors performance, and implements strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. It ensures effective resource allocation, territory coverage, and data-driven decision-making to maximize business opportunities. A confident change leader and communicator, the Inside Sales Manager fosters resilience, accountability, and continuous improvement while representing the sales organization with professionalism and integrity.
Essential Job Duties
Coaching & Developing
- Leads change with confidence, builds resilient teams, and turns transition into opportunity.
- Manages a team of Inside Sales Representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.
Driving Results & Accountability
- Sets clear expectations, inspects with rigor, and holds teams accountable while developing talent for sustained success.
- Develops clear sales objectives, quotas, and performance standards for the inside sales team.
- Monitors key metrics to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Regularly analyzes results, identifies trends, and implements action plans to drive continuous improvement and achieve sales objectives.
- Oversees the development, maintenance, and accuracy of the sales pipeline to ensure timely progression of opportunities through each stage.
Resource Allocation
- Strategically aligns people and resources to maximize growth, coverage, and return on opportunity.
- Ensures effective coverage and utilization of sales territories to maximize business opportunities. Analyzes market trends and customer needs to adjust territory strategies as necessary.
Communication & Influence
- Inspires through clear, confident communication, builds strong partnerships, and influences outcomes across all levels.
- Demonstrates executive presence in representing the sales organization with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field or equivalent in related work experience.
- 7 or more years’ experience in sales management
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficient in using office technology, including computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems, and virtual meeting platforms, as required for daily responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves regular physical and sensory activity, including:
- Bending, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), with intermittent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Continuous use of fingers, hands, and arms for computer and office-related tasks
- Frequent use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners (up to 8 hours daily)
- Regular verbal communication via phone and in-person interactions (up to 6 hours daily)
