Job summary

Berger Moving & Storage in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. You will develop new prospects and interact with existing clients by phone or virtually, maintain knowledge of services and pricing, determine customer needs, and prepare price quotes for local and long-distance moves and storage.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong verbal and written communication, excellent follow-up, teamwork, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in residential moving preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent follow up.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develops new prospects and interacts with existing clients by phone/virtually.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of Berger services and pricing.
• Determines customer needs and proposes appropriate services.
• Provides price quotes for local/long distance moving services and storage.
• Communicates customer needs to Move Coordinators and Operations teams.
• Provides timely follow up with potential customers and office staff.
• Focuses on retention and growth of business for Berger Moving and Storage.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Berger Moving & Storage is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in St. Paul, MN!

Responsibilities for our Inside Sales Representatives include but are not limited to:

• Develops new prospects and interacts with existing clients by phone/virtually;
• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Berger services and our pricing structure;
• Determines customer needs and propose appropriate services;
• Provides price quotes for local/long distance moving services and storage;
• Clearly and accurately communicates the customers’ needs and expectations to the Move Coordinators and Operations teams;
• Provides timely follow up with potential customers and office staff;
• Focuses on the retention and growth of business for Berger Moving and Storage
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required);
• Previous sales experience at a customer service level (preferred);
• Previous experience in residential moving (preferred);
• Confident with strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent follow up skills are essential;
• Must be a team player;
• Strong presentation, organizational, multitasking, and time management skills;
• Able to work in a fast paced team sales environment with minimal supervision;
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
