We are seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. The ideal applicant will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, or live chat.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, trade shows, or web traffic.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on products (e.g., materials, use cases, maintenance).
  • Process incoming sales orders and ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery terms.
  • Upsell or cross-sell complementary products.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Stay current on the full product line, including features, specifications, and differences between models.
  • Communicate product value and differentiate offerings from competitors.
  • Input and update customer and order information accurately.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse or logistics teams on inventory and shipping statuses.
  • Work closely with marketing to align promotions, campaigns, and customer feedback.
  • Communicate customer needs or product issues to product development or quality control teams.
  • Participate in training sessions, product demos, or team meetings.
  • Monitor trends in the knife industry (e.g., growing demand for custom or handmade knives).
  • Stay informed about competitor products and pricing.
  • Provide feedback to sales leadership about opportunities or threats in the market.
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, or warranty claims.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and gather testimonials or reviews where possible.

Trade Shows & Brand Representation

  • Travel to industry trade shows and expos at least twice per year to represent the company.
  • Set up and manage the company booth, showcase products, and engage potential buyers.
  • Deliver in-person presentations and product demonstrations to promote the brand and educate attendees.
  • Gather feedback and leads from events for post-show follow-up.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
  • At least 1 - 3 years of sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) is a plus but not required.
