Dixie Supply in Theodore, AL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to engage with telephone and walk-in customers and guide them through the purchasing process.

You will build relationships, communicate product benefits, and provide solutions that meet customer needs while contributing to the company’s success. Job Summary:

Inside Sales Representative engage with telephone and walk in customers and guide them through the purchasing process. Inside Sales Reps are responsible for building relationships and strong communication skills to convey the benefits of our products and services. Inside Sales Reps create valuable connections with customers, help with recognize the offerings that meet their needs and product features, contributing to the company’s overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects to ensure repeat business.
• Provide excellent customer service to all walk-in customers
• Ensure order accuracy, delivery information accuracy and secure payment
• Maintain strong working relationships with lumberyard and manufacturing employees to better service customers
• Stay up to date and well versed on all software and required technologies needed to be relevant in the metal roofing/ construction industry
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of Construction and/ or Metal Roofing Industry
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales role or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• Above average Math skills
• At least two years related experience in Construction/ Metal Roofing Industry

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds at times.
• Must be able to learn and/ or perform on all software required in Sale Department
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to use telephone/ cell phone to communicate with customers
