Job summary

Hood Distribution in Durham, CT is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on managing all sales activities for an assigned territory, growing customer relationships, and driving sales across multiple channels in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

The position offers base salary plus commission, with an emphasis on teamwork and a consultative sales approach. Monday through Friday work hours and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this opportunity.

• Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales base.
• Maintain a high volume of activity focusing on multiple touchpoints including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional, yet consultative, environment.

Job description

Hood Distribution, established in 1899, is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty wood products. We currently have twenty-three locations, providing distribution into eastern US as well as the Caribbean markets. Our primary customers turn our wood into something special.

BASE SALARY + COMMISSION ARE PAID FOR THIS POSITION, COMMISSION HAS NO CAP!!!!!
