We are partnered with an established food manufacturer based in Dallas, TX. They are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team on Day Shift, offering a competitive base salary between $70,000 and $85,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including Healthcare, Vision and Dental insurance, PTO, and 401(k) match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for existing customers, providing timely responses to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing & Coordination: Manage the full order cycle including quoting, order entry, confirmation, and coordination with production and shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Sales Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow existing accounts and support business development objectives.
  • Lead Generation & Follow-up: Qualify inbound leads, make outbound calls and emails to prospective clients, and follow up to convert opportunities into sales.
  • CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates using the company’s CRM system.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from customers and monitor competitor activity to relay market trends and customer insights to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product lines, manufacturing capabilities, and pricing strategies to effectively support customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the field sales team, marketing, production planning, and customer service departments to ensure smooth communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics to help track individual and departmental progress toward goals.
  • Customer Retention: Build long-term relationships with clients by providing proactive service and maintaining a consistent follow-up schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Previous experience in inside sales or customer service within the food manufacturing or distribution industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
