We are currently seeking a qualified Inside Sales Representative at our company headquarters in downtown Chicago, Illinois. This role primarily involves assisting customers after an order has been placed for products from our manufacturing plants and brands.

Main Duties include:

  1. Managing customer orders upon receipt of purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and our purchasing department to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Researching and providing shipping status updates for open customer orders.
  3. Checking product pricing and availability for existing customers.
  4. Responding to inquiries about country-of-origin (COO), including providing origin information, filling out customer spreadsheets, and researching tariff codes.
  5. Addressing questions from retail customers and sales representatives.
  6. Generating end-of-the-month reports for customers, detailing purchases over the last month and quarter, and responding to related inquiries.
  7. Reporting on rebates, including detailing total customer sales during specified periods and completing forms for future purchase credits.
  8. Completing product specification spreadsheets based on customer requests, researching detailed product information such as description, weights, sizes, and packaging details.

This position is based in an office setting in downtown Chicago, working in a dedicated cubicle. The job involves standing, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Saunders Midwest, LLC offers a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 annually, along with health, dental, vision, and disability insurance; a 401K retirement plan; paid time off; and a flexible work schedule.
