Job summary

Waukesha-pearce Industries Llc in Houston, TX seeks a Sales Support specialist to assist outside sales, read specifications, prepare quotes, coordinate shipments, and maintain CRM. The role supports the sales team and interlocks with customers and internal staff.

Job Details

Job Location: Houston, TX 77035. Job Category: Sales.

Scope of Work

Support outside sales personnel and interact with WPI customers. Read and interpret specifications, work up quotes, pull down jobs from reporting services such as "iSqFt" and "Builders Exchange", coordinate shipment of product, provide customer support, necessary documentation to customers, i.e. install drawings, etc. Ensure CRM is up to date, help with disposition quotes, complete submittals, pass along leads and other related activities as required.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications to provide quotes.
• Participate to the fullest extent possible in the development of customer quotes.
• Make sure customer is receiving goods and services in a timely fashion.
• Maintain close relationship with customers, sales staff, service staff, and Branch Manager.
• Identify and report decision makers to sales team.
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of entire WPI products/services offerings to ensure high probability that opportunities are identified and secured and/or opportunities are passed on to the appropriate WPI team member or management.
• Report all sales leads to the appropriate management and sales teams.
• Promote positive and professional relationships with all company personnel and between its' divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 year(s) previous experience or college equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree (or higher), or experience of equal value in applied discipline preferred.
• Sales or customer service experience in standby generation field preferred.

Working Conditions

• Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends (as necessary).
• Sitting; occasional bending or kneeling; lift and carry a maximum of 10-50 Lbs., reach overhead for light weight items.
• Office and outdoor work.
• Some temporary adjustments to starting and quitting time as work load requires.
