Job summary

BELTOPIA LLC in Indiana seeks a full-time Hearing Care Technician to assist in hearing aid adjustments, fittings, and patient care across multiple office locations in the Indianapolis area. The role includes travel to various sites and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities include screening patients, taking ear impressions, scheduling, maintaining patient records, and supporting sales efforts. A license is required, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold Audiology Assistant license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license.
• Minimum 1 year customer service or sales experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for routine hearing screenings.
• Fit hearing aids and assist with adjustments.
• Travel to multiple Indianapolis-area locations for support.
• Maintain patient files and scheduling; perform clerical duties.
• Provide care and use instructions to patients.
• Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks.
• Assist with repair and adjustments of hearing aids.
• Follow up with patients by phone or in person.

The Hearing Care Technicianwill assist in hearing aid adjustments, repairs, internal prospecting, scheduling, and routine office maintenance. This individual will help build and retain our patient database and increase hearing aid sales. This position is full-time (M-F, 8:30am - 5pm) covering multiple office locations.

A license will be required for this position but we are willing to train and mentor any interested candidate in the licensing process.

Highlights:

• Meet with patients and conduct routine/annual hearing screenings

• Make ear impressions and molds, order products and supplies

• Fit hearing aids and assist with adjustments, questions, and troubleshoot problems

• Assist with repair and adjustments of hearing aids

• Provide care and use instructions to patients

• Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks

• Maintain patient files and perform clerical duties and other administrative support functions

• Calling to follow-up with patients

• This position will also require travel to several locations to provide support where needed in the Indianapolis area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Audiology Assistant license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license

• Previous sales experience or customer service experience
