Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the team onsite at our Jasper, IN facility. You will handle inbound sales calls, match products to customer needs, and follow up to close sales, while building lasting customer relationships.

The role starts with training in Jasper, IN, 4–6 weeks, then shifts to a daytime schedule with occasional Saturday hours. Commission-based earnings beyond guaranteed training pay are available.

Job Overview

Job Description: Job Overview: As a member of the Inside Sales Team, the Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for four key functions; inbound sales calls, ensuring proper match of the products customers are buying, building sound customer relationships, and sales follow-up calls. Location/Hours

The Inside Sales Rep works onsite at our Jasper, IN or Peachtree City, GA facility. Training will be at our Jasper facility for 4-6 weeks from 8:30AM to 5:15PM Eastern. After training, you will start in a shift from 9:15AM-6:00PM Eastern, Monday-Friday. You will also be assigned periodic Saturday shifts from 8:00AM-12:00PM EST (approximately every 10-12 weeks) and one late shift day per week, 10:30AM-7:15PM or 11:15AM-8:00PM Eastern.

What you’ll do

• Complete our product and sales training program
• Build & maintain relationships with customers
• Handle inbound sales calls, identify customer needs, and convert inquiries into successful sales
• Make proper match of products to customer needs and provide accurate verbal & written quotes
• Make follow-up calls to customers
• Troubleshoot customer concerns
• Maintain proper business etiquette

What it takes

• Sales experience preferred
• Driven and capable to operate in a high-energy, fast-pace environment
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred but not required
• Specialization in car restoration and performance products preferred but not required
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple computer programs
