Job summary

ABC Supply in Gardena, CA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding, and window products and to process sales orders. You will answer phones, enter orders, collect payments, and coordinate pickups with the warehouse.

You will also follow up on deliveries, keep shelves stocked, and resolve service concerns. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in roofing-related sales and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail- and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies.
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
