Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers buying roofing, siding and window supplies.

You will assess needs, follow product checklists, up-sell, answer calls, enter orders, coordinate pickups, and track deliveries to ensure on-time service. 1–2 years roofing/siding/windows experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in window/sales/installation is required.
• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Follow a product checklist and up-sell additional products and supplies.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep shelves stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
