Job summary

Airgas is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Sacramento, CA to partner with customers in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related supplies. You will advise on tools, hardware, and materials, demonstrate equipment use, and help customers complete projects with accurate pricing and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, order entry, and collaboration with team members in a drug-free, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in product, warehouse, or sales environments.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on tools, hardware, and materials needed to complete projects.
• Demonstrate equipment use and share insights on product quality.
• Process orders and deposits; reconcile transactions as needed.
• Coordinate costs and delivery via phone, email, and in person with customers and team.
