Job summary

Koch Finishing Systems is hiring an Inside Sales Representative at our Caledonia, MI location to support plating and anodizing equipment customers. You will respond to pricing, parts, delivery questions, and service needs, while developing new business and nurturing existing relationships.

You’ll act as a key contact, coordinate with engineering and internal teams, and provide solution-oriented service throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years in sales, customer service, or industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver responsive, solutions-oriented service.
• Strong sales, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn plating and anodizing equipment details with training.
• Travel domestically and internationally on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for calls and emails regarding parts, pricing, delivery, and technical support.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and identify growth opportunities.
• Follow up on leads and cultivate new accounts.
• Prepare work orders and process equipment and parts orders with internal teams to move service projects forward.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving for customer issues.
• Build relationships with partner vendors to stay informed about products and pricing.
• Help customers plan for spare parts and replacements throughout equipment life.
• Prepare estimates for service contracts, modifications, and upgrades with engineering input.
• Identify opportunities to upsell parts, service, and upgrades to customers.
• Travel occasionally for customer visits and site measurements; collaborate across departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
