Job summary

Distribution International is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through strategic territory management and exemplary customer service. You will expand the territory, develop sales plans, and build lasting relationships with business customers across the region.

The role requires a minimum of one year in outside B2B sales, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 75% with overnight stays. A Bachelor’s degree or college coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• CRM experience preferred.
• Minimum one year outside sales experience with B2B clients.
• Driver’s license required (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Expand sales volume and profits within the territory by calling on new and existing customers.
• Use pre-call planning, market information, scheduling, and maximize sales opportunities.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Communicate order details to Customer Service.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, reports, and presentations for customers.
• Report weekly on sales activities and forecasting information.
• Utilize CRM to manage accounts and activities.
• Attend training and trade shows as required.
