Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a retail sales associate to assist walk-in customers, provide product guidance, and quote small projects. You will enter orders and coordinate deliveries while supporting inventory and store upkeep.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 6 months of sales experience; familiarity with MS Office and an ERP system is helpful. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with six months sales experience or equivalent.
• Able to learn company product pricing, discounting, and estimating formulas.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in, phone, and email customers with product selection and pricing.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small projects.
• Enter orders and schedule product deliveries.
• Help maintain store organization, inventory, and signage.
• Display strong customer service and resolve simple complaints.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Coordinate and participate in customer workshops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
