Job summary

United Rentals in Southaven, MS seeks an Inside Sales Rep to act as a key customer contact and consultant at the branch, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for equipment and services based on customer needs.

You will build relationships, drive branch growth, process quotations, establish accounts, negotiate prices, coordinate delivery, and pursue leads from Outside Sales while maintaining strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies per policy.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations for delivery.
• Generate leads for new business and share with Outside Sales.
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean, presentable showroom with merchandise.
