Job summary

Ferguson seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Hobbs, NM to support customers and learn the business from the ground up. This hands-on, customer-focused role includes training in the warehouse and requires strong product knowledge in Industrial Pipes, Valves & Fittings, with opportunities to upsell and build long-term customer relationships.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7 am–4 pm with an on-call rotation. Starting pay $20/hour, with potential for more based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of Industrial Pipes, Valves and Fitting knowledge preferred.
• Strong sales skills including upselling.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales associates to determine best products and solutions for customers.
• Provide timely quotations and accurate sales orders to ensure personalized service.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls and address customer questions or concerns.
• Use CRM and phone systems effectively.
