Job summary

Kight Home Center is hiring an Inside Sales Rep who will be the face of the store for customers seeking project guidance and product information. You will provide friendly service, discuss needs, prepare estimates, and process purchases with a commission-based pay structure.

Responsibilities include following up on online quotes, cold-calling to qualify leads, supporting Outside Sales Reps, and helping with inventory control to prevent overages and shortages. A team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is required.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication.
• Able to work as part of a team and meet sales goals.
• Knowledge of building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers as they walk into the store and provide product information.
• Offer advice on project needs and prepare estimates for packages or projects.
• Process transactions and follow up on online customer quotes.
• Cold call to qualify new leads and support Outside Sales Reps as needed.
• Assist in inventory control through cycle counts and resolving overages/shortages.
