Job summary

SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (Pipe Fabricators) in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative.

You will grow sales by cultivating existing customers and adding new ones, answering questions, processing orders, and educating customers on our products.

Hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, in-office. Compensation includes $20/hour plus 2.5% commission with a guaranteed $1,200/month for up to a year, totaling about $56,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry.
• Clear verbal and written communication of customer needs.
• Ability to listen actively and understand customer requirements.
• Capable of building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Able to analyze information and coordinate projects to meet needs.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer and return calls from customers placing orders, requesting quotes or information.
• Enter orders accurately and keep customers informed of shipment details.
• Develop knowledge of product features, pricing, availability, and applications.
• Build trust as the primary facilitator for customer requests.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional products.
• Follow through on bids and existing sales orders and perform follow-up.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Educate customers on value proposition and differentiation from competitors.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Sales Manager.
