Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services in Acworth, GA is seeking an Account Executive to provide price and delivery quotes, answer product questions, and convert inquiries into orders with courtesy and attention to detail.

You will build loyalty with target and non-major accounts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel as needed to meet company goals while maintaining competitive pricing and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experience, computer literate and telephone experience.
• 1 to 2 years sales experience.
• Interpersonal skills to sell, negotiate and close business.
• Attention to detail when evaluating customer accounts and orders.
• Basic computer skills to assemble and process orders efficiently.
• Effective communication and listening when answering calls.
• Knowledge of products sold by the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales calls, faxes, and e-mails
• Generate and follow up on quotes for all products
• Provide technical assistance to customers
• Process sales orders
• Enter return orders, credits, and debits when required
• Enter scrap return orders as requested by distribution channels
• Review product inventory and report concerns to purchasing/management
• Satisfy customer service issues
• Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures
• Work in team environment, communicating with all personnel
• Traveling as needed to meet company goals
• Monitor competitor products and prices
• Assist in quality related duties where required
