Job summary

A. O. Smith Corporation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks a Sales Manager in Appleton to develop, execute, and evaluate sales strategies for retail and contractor channels within the Clean Water Center.

Lead a team of retail sales representatives, coordinate with service and office managers, and drive growth in customer partnerships. The role requires strong sales experience, the ability to train and mentor staff, and collaboration with cross-functional managers to meet company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Experience in sales or new business development.
• Experience implementing professional service business models.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of retail sales representatives.
• Lead monthly water training classes with service and sales teams.
• Coordinate retail and dealer sales activities across departments.
• Drive lead generation and in-home sales strategies.
• Provide in-field support to contractor customers to develop partnerships.
• Collaborate with the GM and Marketing on campaigns.
