Specialty Building Products, a leading distributor in North America, seeks an Inside Sales Rep for the Doors division in Lancaster, TX. You will handle customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely deliveries while supporting outside sales efforts and building lasting retailer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; a 2-year degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
• Excellent communication skills and service-oriented telephone manner.
• Self-starter, proactive, and able to take initiative.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Solid business and selling principles with negotiation skills.
• Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound sales calls and build relationships with retail and big box customers.
• Respond to requests for prices and quotations; schedule deliveries and follow up with customers.
• Place orders and coordinate with operations; support outside sales to maximize opportunities.
• Provide pricing, availability, and product information; communicate shipping delays and dates.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics within the retail sector.
