Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Inside Sales Support specialist to assist the sales team with building automation system design, estimating, proposals, and project coordination. The role interfaces with contractors, engineers, and vendors to create accurate bids and ensure smooth handoffs.

The position emphasizes HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge, attention to cost and performance, and effective communication across teams. Monday–Friday, on-site work required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year experience Estimating, Designing, or Installing in the Building Automation and/or Mechanical industry.
• Minimum 1 year of Commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with control systems, including familiarity with Tridium, Distech, Honeywell, and /or Alerton control systems.
• Understanding of basic computer systems, including the MS Office Suite of products.
• Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Experience in project cost estimation, including material and labor costs.
• Understanding of mechanical systems.
• Understanding of mechanical systems control design.
• Knowledge of product selection for sensors, valves, materials, end devices, etc.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Systems Controls Design: product selection and network design for multiple brands.
• Design/Build Assistance: surveying a building and creating the best design to meet customer needs.
• Project Takeoff & Cost Estimation: creating job mark-ups and capturing all costs.
• Subcontract Procurement: contacting installation partners & product vendors for quotes.
• Contractor Interaction: engaging with engineers, contractors and vendors for pricing or RFIs.
• Pre-bid Meetings: lead internal reviews of estimated costs before bid due date.
• Proposal Writing: assist sales with bid proposals.
• Document Management: organize project folders and plans for turnover to operations.
• Project Turn Over: participate in handover discussions for technical features.
• Site Visits: gather site data to support engineering design.
