Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in the Energy Division to support heat transfer products. You will bridge sales and technical teams, deliver value-based solutions, and drive opportunities across channel and field sales.

The role is hybrid in Richmond, VA with 10–15% travel and relocation assistance. A Bachelor's in engineering and 2+ years sales experience are required; relocation support available for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2+ years of industrial, technical, or inside sales experience.
Strong PC and communication skills; business acumen.
Ability to develop offers using value-based solutions.
Solution selling background desired.

Responsibilities

Support channel and field sales with technical advice on product and application needs.
Provide high technical and commercial support to sales channels and respond to quote requests.
Collaborate with customer service and operations to ensure successful order execution.
Participate in OneCRM activities and pipeline reviews.
Maintain internal heat exchanger tools and systems (CAS, ALiCE, GDTL, CALEIDO).
Assist and support Marketing for new product launches.
Engage in regular training for sales channels.
