Job Description Overview
We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to support pre-sales technical activities, including demonstrations, solution design, licensing support, and training development.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support to accelerate sales opportunities.
  2. Design solutions based on Commvault products to address client needs.
  3. Demonstrate product capabilities through remote demos and presentations.
  4. Educate sales teams on IT concepts related to data management and storage.
  5. Maintain accurate customer and environment data in internal systems.
  6. Develop expertise in related technologies like virtualization and storage.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful sales campaigns.
  8. Create toolkits and knowledge transfer systems.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. 4+ years in systems administration or pre-sales, preferably with data management software experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of data protection, networking, storage, and systems administration.
  4. Ability to communicate technical and business value effectively.
  5. Familiarity with technologies like VMware, NetApp, and databases such as SQL and Oracle.
  6. Proficiency in Windows, Linux, UNIX, and virtualization.
  7. Ability to work remotely and travel as needed (10-15%).
