Qualifications

• Technical aptitude with interest in machining or manufacturing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organization.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical docs.
• Sales, applications engineering, estimating, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, screw machines, or tooling is a plus.
• ERP experience and MS Office.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ownership.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about Davenport screw machines, tooling, and genuine replacement parts.
• Develop quotations and review requirements to recommend products and solutions.
• Assist customers in identifying replacement parts and tooling for their applications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and parts documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to confirm technical requirements, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on quotations and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and manufacturing professionals.
• Coordinate customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment.
• Provide responsive, knowledgeable service to help customers minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Brinkman Products, Inc. is an industrial goods manufacturing company encompassing two lines of business; Davenport Machine and CJ Winter. Both manufacture proprietary product lines which include Davenport multi-spindle screw machines, thread rolling attachments, thread rolls, and tooling.

About the Position

We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team and support customers in the precision machining and manufacturing industries.

This is an opportunity to work with a highly specialized product line backed by a strong manufacturing heritage. You will help customers identify the right equipment, tooling, and replacement parts while building lasting relationships with manufacturers who rely on Davenport products.

• Familiarity with CNC machining, screw machines, precision tooling, or machine components is a plus.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who takes ownership and follows through.
