Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation in Tampa, FL is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Associate to handle order placement, pricing, delivery coordination, and other customer-facing tasks. You will be the first point of contact for customers, selling building materials at the counter and supporting pricing, quoting, and delivery needs.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, strong math, multitasking, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Sell building materials at the customer service counter.
Maintain and grow existing customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting, and customer follow-up.
Source special order items for our contractors.
Ensure all customer sales orders are imputed complete and accurate.
Advise customers on inventory levels and pricing.
Cash application and reporting.
Answering the phone and directing calls.
Scheduling and answering questions regarding deliveries for customers.
