SPEC Building Materials Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Associate to handle order placement, pricing, delivery coordination, and customer inquiries from the at-counter location.

You will build and grow the customer base, source item requests, ensure orders are accurate, and advise customers on inventory and pricing. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Working knowledge of computers and software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Past history in a building materials-related industry.

Responsibilities

• Sell building materials to customers from the customer service counter.
• Maintain and grow the customer base through prospecting and follow-up.
• Source special order items for contractors.
• Ensure all orders are input complete and accurate.
• Advise customers on inventory levels and pricing.
• Cash application and reporting.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries.
• Schedule and respond to delivery questions.
